COMMITTEE

Each year over 6000 secondary school students, participate in sport and recreation in Hawke’s Bay. Our vision is to nurture an equitable and inclusive environment for children to build a lifelong love of sport and physical activity through positive and meaningful experiences. The Hawke’s Bay Secondary School Sport Management Committee is a collective group of school representatives assigned to protect the best interests of schools and school sport. The Principal Management Committee (PMC) consists of Secondary School Principals and Sports Directors from across Hawke’s Bay, who meet four times annually to provide direction, and support the Regional Sport Director (RSD). The PMC act on behalf of all member Secondary Schools and when required, will share information for discussion with the wider Hawke’s Bay Principal Association.
